Ruth

The idea for Caregivers One came from the experiences I’ve had in life. For many years, my siblings and I were the caregivers for my mother, who developed arthritis later in life and was wheelchair-bound. After my training and work as a nutritionist, I eventually became a licensed vocational nurse and worked in several settings including home health.

The different experiences provided me with invaluable lessons as I cared for young and adult to senior clients. During those years, I saw first-hand the significant need for quality caregivers and I knew that I would one day work to encourage more people to contribute to the provision of  quality care to those who need it.

I believe in our team of caregivers all of whom are background checked and trained. But beyond that, our caregivers are encouraged to approach care with passion and genuineness. We strive to provide care for each of our clients just like the care we’d provide for our own families. We hope to build professional relationships with our clients that help us meet their needs—physically, emotionally and socially.

I’m passionate about wellness and I especially value the journey of life. I believe that people should not be in need and despair at the end of life. There is immense value in bringing in an extra pair of hands when it means you or your loved one can enjoy a better quality of life.

I am passionate and driven to use my knowledge and experiences to provide the best in home care services through our team of caregivers.
