Our Caregivers

Our caregivers are all registered with the state of California Home Care Services Bureau as Home Care Aides.
They are fingerprinted and cleared, bonded and trained. We love caring for our clients.

Below are some reasons why our caregivers like doing what they do - caring...

S.A

"I have worked as a caregiver for 10 years, which includes my nursing care. Caregiving to me is a very important job. I enjoy communicating with clients so that I am able to: understand the condition that they are in, listen patiently to their problems, be more considerate, supportive, kind, and loveable. Caregiving has made me to be a better person. I feel proud that I can: change a person’s life, motivate them, upgrade their activities of daily living, make the client more active again in the community, bring back memories that they have lost in their life so they can live happy once again. I feel fortunate to work with a team of caregivers who are: involved in the care of our clients, who are dedicated, hardworking and who love what they do and the seniors that they are caring for".

L.S

"Essentially, I have been a caregiver my entire life, as I am the firstborn in a family of 12 and a mother of 4 children. I enjoy assisting our clients with their day-to-day activities and putting a smile on their faces. There are a variety of needs among our clients, however, after working with seniors for a couple years, I feel that I can assist anyone in any situation without fear."

"I've been a caregiver for more than 5 years. I became interested in caregiving when I had to care for my mother and I loved it and decided to pursue a profession in caring for others. I enjoy caregiving  because I know I am able to bring a smile to the face of my clients, which in turn, brightens my day.

Joy and compassion are traits that I value clearly and express throughout my career, I enjoy getting to know clients and learning about who they are . I feel that I have gained a positive outlook through learning new tasks. Also, meeting spectacular individuals has bettered me not only as a caregiver, but as a person. Lastly, being a caregiver requires a lot of patience but the experience and heartwarming impact is worth it!"

A.M

"Since I have become a caregiver, I have learned to listen more because when dealing with people you are more interested in delivering their needs and making them more comfortable, so you tend to want to hear what it is they are communicating."

J.S

" I enjoy spending time with seniors and being able to assist them. I feel like I’ve become a better person. I have been able to learn new things and new ways to assist our clients based on their needs. Also, I love seeing clients recuperate and get back on their feet and it is evident that they were able to do so because of the special care that the wonderful team of caregivers provided, here at Caregivers One."

J.L-G

"I enjoy working with seniors because I have the opportunity to give them the help and care they need to heal. I have grown as a person in a sense that I feel more comfortable in caring for adults and their needs. I love as a caregiver that I am able to do what I love and help others in the healing process."
